Access for All Membership: Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions, the following terms shall have the following meaning:

Access for All Membership: means membership of the Access for All Membership Scheme;

Access for all Membership Form: means the form attached to these Terms and Conditions which is completed by the Access for All Membership Holder or the Nominated Booker on their behalf;

Access for All Membership Holder: means the person named on the Access for All Membership Form as the membership holder;

Access for All Membership Scheme: means the free membership scheme operated by the Theatre, as more particularly described on its website, designed to ensure that everyone can access and enjoy all aspects of the Theatre;

Essential Assistant: means a person over the age of 18 accompanying an eligible Access for All Membership Holder to the Theatre in accordance with clause 4 of these Terms and Conditions;

Essential Assistant Ticket(s): has the meaning given in clause 6 of these Terms and Conditions;

Nominated Booker means the person named on the Access for All Membership Form as the Access for All Membership Holder’s nominated booker; and

Theatre means the Grand Opera House, a charity governed by the Grand Opera House Trust which is registered as a charity with the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland (charity registration number NIC104605).

2. Benefits

2.1 Access for All Membership Holders are entitled to the benefits listed on the Access for All Membership page of the Theatre’s website, subject to availability of the benefits and these Terms and Conditions.

3. Duration of Membership

The Access for All Membership is valid for 24 months, unless otherwise specified.

The Theatre reserves the right to end an Access for All Membership at any time at its sole discretion.

Access for All Membership Holders found, or reasonably suspected of, reselling their tickets for commercial gain will have their membership terminated without notice or recompense and any booked tickets will be cancelled.

4. Membership Terms

4.1 Ticket orders can only be placed by the Access for All Membership Holder, or the Nominated Booker as stated on the Access for All Membership Form.

4.2 An Access for All Membership Holder is not permitted to act as a Nominated Booker and/or Essential Assistant to another Access for All Membership Holder.

4.3 Membership of the Access for All Membership Scheme and the benefits it provides is personal to the Access for All Membership Holder and is non-transferable.

4.4 Membership of the Access for All Membership Scheme does not guarantee access to tickets and ticket limits may apply.

5. Concessions/Discounts

5.1 Discounts can only be accessed by the Access for All Membership Holder or the Nominated Booker.

5.2 Proof of entitlement to a concession/discount may be requested from the Access for All Membership Holder or Nominated Booker at the time of booking and/or when they attend the event. Failure to produce reasonable proof of entitlement to a concession/ discount may invalidate the ticket and result in refusal of admittance.

6. Essential Assistant Tickets

6.1 Essential Assistant Tickets are complimentary tickets intended for Access for All Membership Holders requiring additional support. This must be due to disability-related needs, significant and in excess of what could be reasonably expected of family or friends already accompanying the Access for All Membership Holder. Proof of eligibility must be provided as detailed in the Access for All Membership Form. The Theatre shall have sole discretion to determine who is eligible for Essential Assistant Tickets.

6.2 An Essential Assistant Ticket entitles the Access for All Membership Holder to bring one Essential Assistant per production free of charge.

6.3 An Essential Assistant must be over 18 years of age and be able to assist in the event of an evacuation.

6.4 Essential Assistant Tickets must be applied for at the time of purchase and cannot be applied to Tickets already purchased.

7. Data Protection and Privacy

7.1 In order to administer your Access for All Membership we manage your personal information securely, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We will use your personal information to provide you with all information, benefits and services specific to your Access for All Membership.

7.2 If you have provided us with an email address, this will be our primary contact method, rather than by post, unless otherwise specified on your Access for All Membership Form. You can update your contact preferences at any time by emailing us at boxofficemanagers@goh.co.uk or by telling our Box Office team over the phone at 028 9024 1919 or in person.

7.3 Please advise the Box Office if your contact details change to ensure you receive all relevant information.

8. Changes to these Terms

8.1 The Theatre reserves the right to review and to make alterations to the Access for All Membership Scheme, the benefits it provides and these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
