We believe that creativity should be open to everyone. That's why the Grand Opera House Creative Learning team's work extends beyond school-aged children, working with people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.
From large scale productions like the annual Summer Youth Production to one-off workshops, community projects and events, the Theatre aims to use a diverse range of art-forms to inspire, engage and grow the curious minds of children and adults across the community.

Mid-Term Youth Production
The Grand Opera House has created a special mid-term theatre project in the Theatre’s Studio space for young people, from 10-15 years of age, from Monday 28 October - Saturday 2 November 2024.
Summer Youth Production
The Summer Youth Production is a long-running tradition that sees young people from all backgrounds take part in a large scale, professional-standard production on the Theatre's main stage.
