This year, the Grand Opera House celebrates 129 years of presenting top quality live performances and entertaining
audiences from across Northern Ireland and beyond.
The Theatre's Creative Learning Programme helps inspire, educate and share the power of performing arts by engaging with communities of all ages and from all backgrounds.

2,900+ people engaged in the Creative Learning Programme last year.
700+ people took part in school and community group tours in 2024.
500+ people participated in workshops and activities during the Grand Family Festival in August 2024.
270+ primary school children took part in cultural diversity workshop during November 2024.
75 young people took part in the Summer Youth Production, Sunset Boulevard - with 14 youth musicians playing alongside professionals in the orchestra.
40 young dancers aged 12-18 years old participated in a masterclass on stage with The Royal Ballet Principal Dancer, Melissa Hamilton.
